YHVH has undeniably has the power to completely heal any and every disease humanity endures. Nothing is too great or impossible for Him, yet He may heal you of sickness or He may not, for He has already stated:
“I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy” (Ex. 33:19)
He is not only omnipotent, but also utterly sovereign, doing precisely what He will and intends to do. We cannot be so remiss as to make totally false assumptions that G-d is bound to do what we want or instruct Him to do! Such thinking is anathema to the Word of G-d. We should trust in the Eternal and not in just healings. We must let Him have His way with us no matter where it leads or it entails.
If you are suffering sickness consider the very distinct possibility that G-d may indeed be able to use you more effectively in your weakness and infirmity than if you were completely well and carefree. [Sha’ul an example 2 Cor 12]
The mercy and grace of our Creator is immeasurable and without end. He may totally heal the sickness of one of His own, and to another not necessarily grant a complete cure, but rather deliverance, preserving of the person’s life, and in yet another situation, may even allow one to suffer and die. There are clear and irrefutable examples of each of these three categories in Scripture.
